What does this fault code mean?
The solenoid that controls the hydraulic oil used to cool the clutch draws more current than the control module requests. The fault therefore concerns the solenoid's control, and clutch cooling may be affected.
Possible causes
- Connector or circuit board damaged or dirty
- Damaged solenoid
- Damaged transmission control module (TCM)
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then road test to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop inspect the solenoid connector and circuit board for oxidation, contact problems and dirt, and clean what is found
- 3Have a workshop check the transmission oil level
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit

- The malfunction indicator lamp (Check engine) comes on or behaves abnormally
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- Gear changes take a long time
- Gear changes happen too early, too late or too often
