What does this fault code mean?
The current in the circuit to the solenoid that controls the hydraulic oil for clutch cooling is too high. The control module therefore cannot control clutch cooling as it should, and gear changes may be affected.
Possible causes
- Connector or circuit board damaged or dirty
- Damaged solenoid
- Damaged transmission control module (TCM)
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then road test to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop inspect the solenoid connector and circuit board for oxidation and dirt, and clean what is found
- 3If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit

- The malfunction indicator lamp (Check engine) comes on or behaves abnormally
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- No automatic gear change
- Gear changes happen too early, too late or too often
- Gear changes take a long time
