What does this fault code mean?
Although the code is named inside or outside tolerance, it applies to a signal from the input shaft sensor for the odd gears that is too high. The signal does not match the selected gear, and the control module uses the speed for gear changes, so gear changes may be affected.

- Damaged speed sensor
What you can do
- 1Read all codes: if there are more codes for the speed sensors, the fault may lie in the control module that powers them
- 2Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, since the sensor is part of it
