What does this fault code mean?
Solenoid CCFS controls the hydraulic oil used to cool the clutch. The code is set when CCFS is shorted to ground. The fault can lie in the connector or circuit board, in the solenoid or in the transmission control module.
Possible causes
- Connector or circuit board is damaged or dirty
- Damaged solenoid
- Damaged transmission controller (TCM)
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the transmission for dirt, oxidation and loose connections.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wire to solenoid CCFS is not shorted to ground (the body).
- 3Have a workshop open the transmission control system and inspect the solenoid for oxidation, dirt and metal deposits.
- 4If the fault is not found, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit.
