What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns how much torque the clutches deliver. The gearbox has two clutches, one for odd and one for even gears. The transmission control module compares the adapted clutch torque with the engine torque, and the fault is set when they do not match. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Damaged clutch unit
- Incorrect engine torque
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault codes in both the transmission control module and the engine control module. Incorrect signals from the engine can cause this code
- 2Have a workshop diagnose any other fault codes in the transmission first, such as those for pressure and speed sensors
- 3Have a workshop replace the clutch unit if no other fault is found, as it may be damaged
