What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns the safety valve CPCUT in the transmission, which opens the clutches when several solenoids fail at the same time. The valve is exercised regularly so that it does not stick, and the control module has found that this exercising does not work. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Damaged solenoid CCFS, constantly low
- Damaged safety valve CPCUT, jammed or sticking
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop open the transmission control system and visually inspect the solenoid for oxidation, dirt and metal deposits, and check the oil level
- 3If the fault cannot be fixed, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, as the fault is then in the solenoid or the control module
