What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns the wrong shift fork moving: shift fork 3 moves instead of shift fork 4, which has been requested. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Damaged solenoid SHSS1
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop check solenoid SHSS1 and replace it if it is damaged
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, which must then be programmed by the workshop

- Check engine light lit or behaving abnormally
- Warning symbol and text message in the display
- No automatic gear change
- Automatic engine start/stop does not work, both while driving and at idle
