What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns the clutches in the transmission. The gearbox has two clutches, one for odd and one for even gears, and the control module has detected that a clutch fails to release. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Signal from the engine control module (ECM) is missing or incorrect
- Damaged clutch unit
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Read the fault codes in the engine control module (ECM) and fix any faults there first
- 3If no fault is found in the engine, the fault lies in the gearbox. Have a workshop examine the gearbox and the clutch unit, which may be damaged

- No forward or reverse movement with a gear engaged
- Gear changes harsh or jerky
- No automatic gear change
