What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns power stage 3 in the transmission control module (TCM), which controls solenoids CSMS2, CSPS2 and SHSS1. The control module has detected that the power stage has too high a current, an open circuit, or that the voltage out from it is too low. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.

- Damaged power stage
- Damaged transmission control module (TCM)
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM) and fix any faults there first, as low voltage from the CEM can cause this code
- 2Have a workshop check the cables and plugs running between the gearbox controller and the CEM for corrosion and breaks
- 3If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, which must then be programmed

- Warning symbol and text message in the display
- Check engine light lit or behaving abnormally
- No automatic gear change
- No forward or reverse movement with a gear engaged
- The car lacks power when starting off, and automatic engine start/stop does not work
