What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns the pressure for clutch 2, which controls the even gears. The control module has detected that the measured hydraulic pressure is lower than the requested pressure. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Low oil level in the gearbox
- Damaged pressure sensor
- Damaged power stage, solenoid CSPS2
- Solenoid CSMS2, for clutch pressure, is damaged
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop check the gearbox oil level, as a low level can cause this code
- 2Have a workshop inspect solenoids CSPS2 and CSMS2 and the pressure sensor visually for oxidation, dirt and damage
- 3If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, as the fault is then in the solenoid or the control module

- Gear changes take too long, or occur too early, too late or too often
- Gear changes harsh or jerky
- No automatic gear change, and no forward or reverse movement with a gear engaged
