What does this fault code mean?
The fault code concerns solenoid CSPS2, which controls the hydraulic pressure over the clutch for the even gears. The control module has detected that the solenoid has an open circuit. The fault is general and does not say more precisely what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Damaged solenoid
- Connector or circuit board damaged or dirty
- Damaged transmission control module (TCM)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop open the transmission control system and visually inspect the solenoid and its connector for oxidation, dirt and metal deposits, and check the oil level
- 3If the fault cannot be found or fixed, have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit
