What does this fault code mean?
The tow hitch control module (TRM) has registered that its configuration does not agree with the car's configuration. The fault may come from incorrect software in the tow hitch control module, an incorrect configuration file for the car, or a damaged central electronic module (CEM).
Possible causes
- Incorrect software in the tow hitch control module (TRM)
- The configuration file for the car is incorrect
- Damaged central electronic module (CEM)
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop download new software to the tow hitch control module
- 2If the fault remains, have a workshop load new software into the central electronic module (CEM)
- 3Clear the code once the new software has been loaded, and check that it does not return
