What does this fault code mean?
The tow hitch control module (TRM) receives no communication from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN network. The cause can be disturbances or interruptions on the CAN network, or contact resistance, corrosion or breaks in the connections.

- Disturbances or intermittent interruptions on the CAN network
- Contact resistance, corrosion or a break in the connections
What you can do
- 1First deal with any fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM) and in other control modules
- 2Check the connectors and wiring in the CAN network for looseness, corrosion and damage
- 3Clear the code and see whether it comes back
- 4Have a workshop check the CAN wiring, as this needs measuring and diagnostic equipment
