What does this fault code mean?
The tow hitch control module (TRM) receives no communication from the central electronic module (CEM), which normally sends the car's information continuously. The fault comes from disturbances or brief interruptions on the CAN network, or from contact resistance, corrosion or breaks in the connections.

What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM) and deal with them first
- 2Check the connectors and wiring in the CAN network for looseness, corrosion and damage

- 4Have a workshop check the CAN wiring if the fault remains, as this needs measuring and diagnostic equipment
