What does this fault code mean?
The television module (TVM) checks antenna 3. The code is set when the voltage is too low, which is caused by a break or a loose connection in the cable to the antenna. TV reception then becomes poor or does not work.
Possible causes
- A break or loose connector in the wire running from antenna 3 to the Television Module (TVM)
What you can do
- 1Read off the code, clear it and test-drive the TV function to confirm that it does not return.
- 2Check that the fuses for the TV system are intact.
- 3Gently move the cable at the connectors and see whether the fault comes back. Only do this with the ignition off.
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the cable between antenna 3 and the TV module is not broken.
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the antenna voltage in live data while the TV function is in use.
- 6If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop check the antenna and the cable.
Symptoms you may notice1
- TV reception is poor or does not work
