What does this fault code mean?
The television module (TVM) checks antenna 4. The code is set when the voltage is too low, which is caused by a break or a poor connection in the wire between antenna 4 and the TV module. TV reception then becomes poor or fails.
Possible causes
- A break or loose connector in the wire running from antenna 4 to the Television Module (TVM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the TV system are intact.
- 2Read off the code, clear it and test-drive the TV function to see whether it returns.
- 3Check that the connectors in the cable to antenna 4 are firmly seated and not corroded.
- 4With a multimeter you can check that the cable between the antenna and the TV module is not broken.
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the voltage of antenna 4 in live data with antenna 3 while the TV function is in use.
- 6If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop check the antenna and the cable.
