- The serial cable is short-circuited to ground
- The serial cable is short-circuited to voltage
- Defective sun roof
- Damaged sun roof control module
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition on and try to operate the sun roof.
- 2Read off the code, clear it and test-drive the sun roof to see whether it returns.
- 3Check that the fuses in the fuse box in the passenger compartment are intact.
- 4Look for loose connectors and corrosion at the sun roof control module and the upper electronic module.
- 5Look for damage on the cable harness between the upper electronic module and the sun roof.
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the wiring and the sun roof.
