What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the sun roof control module registers an internal fault. According to the fault tracing, no current can be measured at the motor even though the relay is activated and the sun roof changes position. The sun roof then does not close automatically.
Possible causes
- No current can be measured at the motor although the relay is activated and the sun roof changes position
What you can do
- 1Run the sun roof both up and down and note whether it moves.
- 2Look for loose connectors, oxidation or a poor connection at the sun roof motor plug.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the motor is not broken.
- 4Check that the sun roof closes automatically when you press the switch forward two steps.
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sun roof motor or control module.
