The code is set when the sun roof control module registers an internal fault. The reason is that the supply wire for the tilt position of the sun roof has a short to voltage. The electric sun roof then does not work.
Possible causes
- The supply wire for the tilt position of the sun roof has a short to voltage
What you can do
- 1Try to move the sun roof to its end positions.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wire between the sun roof control module and the roof lamp has no contact with voltage.
- 3Look for damage and pinched spots on the wiring running from the sun roof switch to the roof lamp.
- 4Check that the connectors in the sun roof control module and in the roof lamp are firmly seated and not oxidised.
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sun roof switch.
