What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the sun roof control module registers an internal fault. The cause is that the signal for the forward movement of the sun roof has been active for too long. The electric sun roof then does not work.
Possible causes
- The signal for the forward movement of the sun roof is active for too long
What you can do
- 1Try running the sun roof forward and backward and check that it moves normally.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wiring running from the sun roof switch to the roof lamp has no contact with voltage.
- 3If a fault is found in the wiring, replace it.
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sun roof switch.
- 5If no other fault is found, have a workshop replace the sun roof control module.
