What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the sun roof control module registers an internal fault. The reason is that the signal for the backward movement of the sun roof has been active too long. The electric sun roof then does not work.
Possible causes
- The signal for the backward movement of the sun roof is active too long
What you can do
- 1Test running the sun roof backward and forward and see whether it moves evenly.
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wiring from the sun roof switch to the roof lamp is free of voltage contact.
- 3Replace the wiring if you find a fault on it.
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sun roof switch.
- 5If no other fault is found, have a workshop replace the sun roof control module.
