What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the sun roof control module already has SRM-0021 set at the moment contact is made with it. The cause is either a fault when power to the sun roof control module is switched off, or an internal fault in the module. Automatic closing then does not work.
Possible causes
- Fault when power to the sun roof control module is switched off
- Internal fault in the sun roof control module
What you can do
- 1Test whether automatic closing works when you press the switch two steps.
- 2Look for chafed or pinched spots on the wiring and for loose contacts at the sun roof control module.
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wiring is not broken.
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the sun roof control module.
- 5After a repair, clear the code and check that it does not return.
