Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The upper electronic module (UEM) takes in the signals from the tyre pressure sensors and keeps an internal list of the sensors that belong to the car. The code is set when the transmissions from the third of the four approved sensors stop while driving. The pressure for that wheel is then not shown.
Possible causes
- Defective tyre pressure sensor
- The receiver for the tyre pressure signals is not working
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop activate every tyre pressure sensor with diagnostic equipment and check that they give different ID numbers.
- 2Have a workshop confirm which wheel is not responding, and replace its sensor if needed.
- 3Clear the code and check whether it returns.
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the receiver.
Symptoms you may notice2
- Message in the display
- The tyre pressure monitoring warning lamp lights or behaves abnormally
