Immobiliser synchronisation for the Volvo C30, S40 and V50 (2004–2013) when the car will not start after a CEM or ECM has been replaced. Symptoms: "Immobiliser" in the instrument cluster, the car completely dead on cranking, and a key or immobiliser fault code (ECM-C326). Send in both the CEM and the ECM plus the serial number of the BCM. Always repaired locally in Värmland, Sweden — never shipped abroad.
Common symptoms
- Bilen är helt död vid startförsök och texten "Startspärr" visas i instrumenthuset.
- Bilen startar inte och felkod på nyckel eller immobilizer (CEMI/ECM) sätts direkt.
