VAG Engine Control Unit (Bosch EDC17C46)
Engine Control Unit (ECU/ECM/DME/EDC)
Replacement unit for the Bosch EDC17C46 engine control unit for the Volkswagen Passat B7, 2011–2015. Symptoms: no communication with the engine control unit, the glow-plug light stays off, the car is completely dead on the starter and other modules fill with CAN fault codes. Fault codes 01314, U0100, P068A/B. All work is carried out in our workshop in Värmland, Sweden.
Common symptoms
- Ingen kommunikation med motorstyrdonet: OBD-läsare får ingen kontakt med ECU:n (No Communication / ECU Not Found) medan övriga moduler i bilen svarar.
- Glödningslampan lyser inte alls: Den klassiska glödspiralen i instrumenthuset förblir mörk när tändningen slås på, vilket indikerar att styrdonet inte har startat upp.
- Mängder av felkoder i andra moduler (ABS, Airbag, Elcentral): Eftersom motorstyrdonet är dött fylls bilens övriga styrdon med felkoder om utebliven CAN-bus-kommunikation.
- Bilen är helt stendöd på startmotorn: Motorstyrdonet kan inte ge starttillstånd eller aktivera startreläet, vilket gör att motorn inte ens går runt.
