Technical Description
DTC C0315 indicates a circuit malfunction (open circuit, short-to-ground, or short-to-voltage) within the Transfer Case Shift Motor Lock Brake or actuator motor driver circuit. The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) continuously monitors the current draw and voltage feedback across the electromagnetic brake coil and motor H-bridge driver. If the measured current falls outside nominal thresholds during commanded engagement/release, or if an open/short state is sensed, DTC C0315 is triggered and the 4WD/AWD system is disabled into a fail-safe mode.
Possible Causes
1. Korrosion, fuktinträngning eller glappkontakt i kontaktdonet vid fördelningslådans ställdon (under bilen)
2. Defekt elektromagnetisk bromsspole eller intern kortslutning/avbrott i ställdonsmotorn
3. Nött eller skadat kablage i kabelstammen mellan TCCM och fördelningslådan (ofta skav mot chassi/kardan)
4. Internt drivstegsfel (bränd H-brygga/MOSFET) i Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM)
