Technical Description
DTC C0317 is set by the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) when an electrical fault is detected in the Transfer Case Park Lock Switch circuit or internal shift motor detent/lock circuit. The module monitors the voltage return line or microswitch state. If the monitored voltage indicates a persistent open circuit, short to ground, or out-of-range feedback relative to commanded actuator position, the TCCM disables active range shifting and flags DTC C0317 to prevent mechanical gear clash or transfer case internal damage.
Possible Causes
1. Oxiderade eller skadade stift i kontaktdonet vid fördelningslådans ställdonsmotor (utsatt läge under fordonet).
2. Defekt eller kärvande mikrobrytare/lägesgivare inuti ställdonsmotorn (Encoder/Shift Actuator).
3. Kabelskada (avskavd eller ärgad signalkabel/jord) i chassihärvan mellan TCCM och fördelningslåda.
4. Defekt Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) intern pull-up eller jorddrivsteg.
