Technical Description
DTC C0363 indicates an electrical circuit fault (open circuit, short, or invalid position feedback) within the transfer case shift motor or encoder position sensor circuit. The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) monitors H-bridge motor drive current and quadrature encoder/potentiometer channel feedback. If the module commands a range change or executes internal driver diagnostics and detects an open circuit, out-of-range feedback voltage, or missing pulse transitions within the calibrated timeout window, C0363 is set and the transfer case is disabled or locked in fail-safe mode.
Possible Causes
1. Korrosion eller stiftdeformation i kontaktstycket vid fördelningslådans ställdonsmotor (exponerat under fordonet)
2. Slitna kolborstar, intern fuktinträngning eller bränd lindning i ställdonsmotorn
3. Defekt intern lägesgivare (encoder wheel/switchkontakter) i ställdonet
4. Skadat kablage (skav mot kardanaxel/chassi eller kabelbrott)
5. Internt fel i TCCM (bränt utgångssteg / H-brygga)
