Technical Description
DTC C0383 is triggered by the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) upon detecting an electrical circuit fault (open circuit, short-to-ground, or short-to-voltage) within the transfer case lock/engagement solenoid or actuator circuit. The module monitors high/low-side driver feedback current; deviations outside calibrated operational thresholds during activation command result in system shutdown to 2WD failsafe mode to protect electronic drivers and mechanical clutch packs.
Possible Causes
1. Korrosion eller stiftdeformation i kontaktstycket vid fördelningslådan/ställdonet (utsatt för smuts/fukt)
2. Internt avbrott eller lindningskortslutning i solenoid/ställdon på grund av termisk utmattning
3. Nött kabelstam mot chassi/kardanaxel som orsakar intermittent kortslutning mot jord
4. Defekt utgångsdrivsteg (MOSFET) i fördelningslådans styrmodul (TCCM)
