Technical Description
DTC C0121 indicates a circuit malfunction in the ABS/TCS/ESC Valve Relay circuit. The valve relay (frequently an internal solid-state MOSFET driver or internal relay within the EBCM/EHCU assembly) supplies high-current battery power (B+) to all internal hydraulic solenoid valves. The module continuously monitors the high-side drive feedback voltage. If the feedback voltage deviates from the commanded state (e.g., low voltage during commanded closed state or persistent voltage during commanded open state), C0121 is triggered, shutting down stability control and traction assist while retaining conventional hydraulic braking.
Possible Causes
1. Intern mikrospricka i lödningar eller havererad MOSFET/reläbrygga inuti EBCM-elektronikenheten (mycket vanligt vid vibrationer/värmecykler).
2. Spänningsfall, ärgade stift eller bränd 30A/40A ABS-huvudsäkring i motorrummets säkringscentral.
3. Kortsluten magnetventilspole (solenoid) i hydraulblocket som drar ned ventilreläets matningsspänning.
4. Dålig chassijordpunkt (korrosion vid jordkabeln från ABS-kontaktstycket till karossen).
