Technical Description
DTC C0153 is logged when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects a circuit malfunction, implausible signal, or communication failure on the Traction Control System (TCS) request/disable line or the engine torque reduction interface. The fault triggers when the monitoring logic detects an open circuit, short to ground/voltage, or out-of-range duty cycle during torque reduction handshakes between the ECM and EBCM.
Possible Causes
1. Korrosion, skada eller glappkontakt i ledningsnät/kontaktstycke mellan EBCM och ECM/TCS-knapp.
2. Defekt eller mekaniskt fastkärvad TCS/ESP-deaktiveringsknapp i mittkonsolen (intern resistans eller kortslutning).
3. Internt komponentfel i EBCM (drivsteg eller pull-up motstånd för signalslingan).
4. Mjukvaru- eller hårdvarufel i ECM (Engine Control Module) som feltolkar vridmomentsbegäran.
