Technical Description
DTC C0154 indicates a circuit malfunction or plausibility failure in the Traction Control Torque Reduction Request circuit/communication line between the Electronic Stability Control (ESC/EBCM) module and the Powertrain Control Module (ECM/PCM). The fault triggers if the dedicated PWM hardware line or serial data payload for engine torque intervention is shorted to ground, shorted to voltage, open-circuit, or fails plausibility check during active wheel-slip events.
Possible Causes
1. Skadat kablage, avbrott eller kortslutning mot chassijord på TCS PWM/begäranssignalledningen mellan ESC och ECM.
2. Korrosion eller stiftdeformation i genomföringskontaktstycken (t.ex. vid torpedvägg eller EBCM/ABS-hydraulaggregat).
3. Intern utgångstransistordefekt (Open Collector/Low-Side Driver) i EBCM eller defekt ingångssteg/pull-up i ECM.
4. Databussfel (CAN timeout/frame drop gällande vridmomentsmeddelanden från ABS-styrenheten).
