Technical Description
DTC C0155 indicates a circuit malfunction in the Traction Control System (TCS) torque reduction request line between the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) and the Engine Control Module (ECM/PCM). When wheel slip is detected, EBCM commands engine torque reduction via a dedicated discrete wire (active-low logic or PWM) or proprietary link. DTC C0155 sets when an open circuit, short to voltage, or short to ground is detected, causing the EBCM to disable traction and stability intervention.
Possible Causes
1. Skavd eller avbruten kabelstam / korrosion i kontaktdon mellan EBCM och ECM (vanligen nära torpedvägg eller hjulhus).
2. Internt fel i EBCM (drivtransistor/pull-down krets trasig).
3. Internt fel i ECM (pull-up motstånd/referenskrets bränd eller defekt ingångsport).
4. Spänningsfall/dålig chassijordpunkt för bromsstyrdonet.

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
