Technical Description
P0210 is a generic OBD-II diagnostic trouble code indicating a fault in the fuel injector circuit for cylinder number 10. The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the injector driver circuit for specific voltage and current signatures. If the ECM detects a deviation, such as an open circuit or a short to ground/power when the injector is commanded on or off, it will trigger the MIL and store the code. This usually results in a complete misfire on that cylinder because the fuel delivery is compromised.
Possible Causes
Faulty fuel injector for cylinder 10 (internal open or short circuit)
Damaged wiring or corrosion in the injector electrical connector
Wiring harness issues between the injector and the ECM (chafing or heat damage)
Internal failure in the Engine Control Module (ECM) injector driver

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
