Technical Description
P02B0 is set when the Engine Control Unit (ECU) detects that the fuel trim for cylinder 6 has reached its maximum enrichment limit. The ECU monitors the rotational speed of the crankshaft to determine each cylinder's contribution. If cylinder 6 is underperforming, the ECU increases the injector pulse width. This code indicates the compensation has hit the calibrated limit. It often relates to incorrect injector flow rate programming (IQA/IMA codes) or physical restriction/wear within the injector nozzle or solenoid.
Possible Causes
Clogged or faulty fuel injector for cylinder 6.
Incorrect programming of the injector calibration code (IQA/IMA) in the ECU.
High electrical resistance in the wiring harness or connector (oxidation).
Low engine compression on cylinder 6 or valvetrain issues.

Mechanic's Tip
Before replacing expensive components, always double-check wiring and connections. 80% of all sensor faults are actually due to corroded contacts or broken wires.
