Q: How do you fix fault code P02E0?

STEP 1: Inspect the connector at the intake air flow control valve for oil intrusion or corrosion. Clean as necessary. STEP 2: Measure voltage at the connector with ignition ON. There should be a 12V supply. Also verify the ground circuit. STEP 3: Check continuity on the signal wires from the valve to the ECM. Resistance should be near 0 Ohms. If O.L (open line) is detected, locate the break in the harness. STEP 4: Measure the internal resistance of the valve motor. If it shows an open circuit (O.L), the motor is faulty and the valve assembly must be replaced. STEP 5: Clear codes and perform a throttle valve adaptation/calibration using a scan tool.
