Technical Description
P0367 is stored when the Engine Control Unit (ECU) detects an abnormally low voltage signal from Camshaft Position Sensor B (exhaust side) on Bank 1. This sensor provides critical timing data for fuel injection and ignition spark. A 'Circuit Low' condition typically indicates that the signal voltage has dropped below a calibrated threshold (often < 0.3V), preventing the ECU from accurately tracking the camshaft's position relative to the crankshaft. This often leads to the deactivation of Variable Valve Timing (VVT) systems and may trigger a limp-mode strategy.

- Voltage Testing: Use a multimeter to verify reference voltage (usually 5V or 12V) and ground. Ground resistance should be < 0.5 Ohms.
- Signal Analysis: Use an oscilloscope to back-probe the signal wire while cranking/running. A flat 0V line indicates a short to ground.
- Mechanical Check: Ensure the reluctor wheel on the camshaft is not damaged or obstructed by metallic debris.
- Replacement: If wiring and power supply are verified but the signal is missing, replace the camshaft position sensor.
