What does this fault code mean?
The anti-pinch sensor on the right side of the tailgate gives an incorrect value to the tailgate control module (POT), and the cause is a break in the circuit. Because the sensor is used to detect pinching when closing, the tailgate may close less reliably or not automatically.

- Open circuit
What you can do
- 1Read off and clear the fault code, test drive and see whether it returns
- 2Check that the weatherstrip around the tailgate is firmly fitted where the sensors are
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the cable from the right pinch sensor to the control module has no break
- 4Check that the connectors at the sensor and the control module are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5Check that the sensor is undamaged and dry
- 6If the cable is intact: have a workshop replace the anti-pinch sensor
