What does this fault code mean?
The configuration in the tailgate control module (POT) does not match the configuration that the central electronic module (CEM) sends on the CAN network. This may mean the control module is not intended for this particular car, for example if it is used and has other software or hardware, or that a configuration parameter is wrong.

What you can do
- 1Check whether the tailgate control module has been replaced, since a used one may carry other software or hardware
- 2Read off and clear the fault code, test drive and see whether it returns
- 3Check that the fuses for the tailgate are intact
- 4Have a workshop check that the control module's configuration matches the car and reprogram it if needed
- 5If the fault remains: have a workshop check the CAN communication
