What does this fault code mean?
The tailgate control module (POT) has checked its internal hardware and found an internal fault. The fault may lie in the angle sensor, the temperature sensor or the control module itself, and it can affect the tailgate's automatic function.
Possible causes
- The angle sensor is damaged
- The temperature sensor is damaged
- Internal fault in the tailgate control module (POT)
What you can do
- 1Read off and clear the fault code, test drive the tailgate to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the tailgate are intact
- 3Check that the tailgate moves freely and does not stick in any position
- 4Have a workshop check the angle sensor, the temperature sensor and the control module
- 5If the fault remains: have a workshop replace the tailgate control module (POT)
