What does this fault code mean?
The SRS warning lamp in the instrument panel does not light as it should, or behaves wrongly. The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a message from the driver information module (DIM) that the LED there is damaged, and the code is then set.
Possible causes
- LED broken in the driver information module (DIM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the SRS warning lamp in the instrument panel lights for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on
- 2If the lamp does not light but the general warning lamp and a warning message show, have a workshop check the instrument cluster for a faulty circuit
- 3Only a workshop should work on the airbag system; do not do anything yourself there
