What does this fault code mean?
The supplemental restraint system control module has registered an internal fault in itself. The driver cannot fix this, and the SRS warning light comes on. The control module usually has to be replaced by a workshop.

- Fault in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control module
What you can do
- 1Erase the code with a diagnostic tool, switch the ignition off, wait a while and switch it on again to see whether the fault returns
- 2If the fault returns, have a workshop check the control module and replace it, since the fault lies in the module itself
- 3Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the control module and its wiring
