Hyundai Bosch EDC15C7 Engine Control Unit (ECU)

The Bosch EDC15C7 is an engine control unit for common rail diesel systems introduced to manage more complex injection strategies. It replaced earlier mechanical or simpler electronic systems by offering precise control over fuel pressure and injection timing. The unit utilizes an Infineon C167 architecture and communicates via K-line for diagnostics and programming.

Intermittent loss of turbo boost during acceleration, uneven idle during cold starts, and sudden entry into limp mode under high engine load.
