Autotuner World First: Full Support for Volvo Denso VEA Gen 2

Locked since late 2017, full read, tuning, and programming support is now available for Volvo's second-generation Denso engine control units based on the NXP SPC5777M processor.

Volvo Denso VEA Gen 2 engine control unit

Volvo's second-generation VEA engine control units equipped with the NXP SPC5777M microcontroller have previously been inaccessible for programming due to advanced hardware encryption. Through new communication protocols, we now offer engine tuning and custom calibrations for a wide range of modern Volvo models featuring gasoline, diesel, and hybrid engines within the Drive-E platform.

The procedure is performed without mechanical opening of the control unit housing thanks to direct connection via external connector pins. Following an initial unlock, an OBD patch is activated, allowing direct programming through the vehicle's diagnostic port for future calibrations of application software and system data.
