Cloning of Mercedes HD MCM2.x Engine Control Unit
Mercedes Actros 2014 submitted with intermittent fault codes on injectors and immobilizer in the MCM2 unit. Complete 1:1 cloning to donor unit performed for immediate installation.

A Mercedes-Benz Actros 2014 was towed to the workshop with recurring starting failures and operational disruptions. Computer diagnostics confirmed internal hardware failure in the Continental MCM2 engine control unit, causing intermittent faults on fuel injectors and immobilizer components. Since a new unit had a delivery time of several months, an alternative measure was required to avoid extensive downtime for the truck.
To bypass the long waiting time, a complete 1:1 cloning to a functioning used donor unit was performed. All original software, calibration, and immobilizer data were transferred in full, resulting in a complete Plug & Play solution. After reinstallation, the vehicle started immediately without fault codes and was put back into operation the same day.
