Bosch EDC17C08 Engine Control Unit (ECU)

The Bosch EDC17C08 is an engine control unit based on TriCore architecture, specifically developed for Hyundai and Kia common rail diesel systems. This generation introduced more advanced management of injection parameters compared to previous EDC16 units. The unit utilizes internal DFlash for storing immobilizer data and calibration values, requiring specific methods for data transfer.

Rough engine idle and inconsistent fuel correction values across cylinders, often associated with incorrect fuel injection quantity.
