Audi Bosch EDC17CP14 Engine Control Unit (ECU)

The Bosch EDC17CP14 is an engine control unit based on the Infineon TriCore architecture, specifically designed for Audi 2.0 TDI engines. It introduced advanced common rail injection management with higher precision than the preceding EDC16 generation. The unit utilizes internal DFlash for storing immobilizer data and calibration parameters, requiring specific methods for data transfer.

Rough engine idle and jerky acceleration under partial load, often associated with faulty fuel injection on individual cylinders.
